This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of students at Pondok Modern Arrisalah regarding the importance of performing warming up and cooling down during sports activities as a preventive measure against injuries. The issue underlying this program is the low awareness among students about proper exercise procedures, where most engage in sports activities without structured preparation and recovery phases. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Participants included active student athletes, sports teachers, and boarding school administrators selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participatory observation, and documentation, while data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed an increase in students’ understanding and behavioral changes in applying warming up and cooling down. The main themes identified include improved sports health awareness, preventive behavioral changes toward injury risk, and the development of a healthy sports culture within the Islamic boarding school environment. These findings indicate that practice-based educational approaches are effective in enhancing adolescents’ sports health literacy. In conclusion, this community service activity provides practical contributions to establishing safe and structured sports habits and theoretical contributions to community-based health education development. Future research is recommended to examine the long-term effectiveness of similar educational programs with a broader participant scope.
